Anti-ICE Protestor Killed After Attempted Murder of Officer

On Wednesday, Minnesota was rocked by yet another crisis as an ICE officer was forced to open fire on a Minnesota woman as she accelerated her car towards him and began to run him over. The incident ignited outrage from both sides as the left pounced on the opportunity to smear law enforcement.

President Trump swiftly condemned the lies parroted by left-wing media propagandists and the violent history of anti-ICE protestors. These lies were also soundly contradicted by video footage from a body cam on the ICE agent who was hit by the vehicle.

This incident in Minnesota, however, is not a rare occurrence. In fact, it is just one part of a long string of violent attacks perpetrated against ICE and other federal law enforcement agencies by leftist rioters. It is also not the first time these attacks have claimed a life. 

Back in July, an anti-ICE gunman opened fire at an ICE facility in Dallas, attempting to kill the agents, but he missed and killed one of the detainees instead. 

ICE and law enforcement exist to keep Americans safe. Apprehending criminals is a dangerous job, and they risk their lives every time they perform it. Yet many radical left-wingers not only oppose the laws ICE enforces, but are intent on trying to sabotage law enforcement operations through violent force. 

In every one of these violent incidents, ICE and law enforcement do not initiate the violence. They are only present to do their job as required by law. When in the course of that duty they get surrounded by hostile rioters preventing them from going to or leaving their destinations, are attacked in their vehicles,  or in extreme cases have their very lives threatened, officers are completely justified in defending themselves as is necessary in the situation.

Unfortunately, the left is not backing down and seems to be more dedicated to enforcing their political will with the threat of murder as Minnesota protestors openly threaten to hunt down and murder immigration officials.

Why do they view the destructive ideology of open borders as a cause worth dying and killing for? Much of the blame should fall on the vast network of left-wing media outlets, non-profits, politicians, and activist influencers who brainwash the public with extremist rhetoric and intense hatred for ICE. As Border Czar Tom Homan stated, “The incident in Minneapolis … is yet another tragic example of the results of the hateful rhetoric and violent attacks against the men and women of ICE and BP … like all Americans, our officers have a right to self-defense.”
