A Dallas man was sentenced to 17 months in prison for threatening to murder ICE agents on social media. Robert Wilson King, 36, declared his intent to shoot any ICE agents in his neighborhood and called for others to do so as well.
One of King’s posts read: “If I see ICE agents in my neighborhood I’m opening fire. It’s time to stop being pussies and put the second amendment to work. ICE are not real cops, they are a secret police force with no real legal authority. Kill them.”
He repeated the same sentiment in other posts, even exclaiming, “F*** this country.” Rhetoric like that exposes how the radical Left truly views our nation. It is a country to be hated and destroyed, as are its people. The truth is that the fight about immigration enforcement is a war against America’s very existence.
King also threatened to murder anyone who was “feeding information to anyone else,” while simultaneously taunting the FBI to “come get me.” The FBI took that taunt seriously, as did someone who reported him, and confirmed that King’s posts were credible threats without remorse. King was subsequently convicted of and sentenced to 17 months in prison, followed by two years of supervision.
This disturbing case is part of a much larger, and obvious, pattern of left-wing violence specifically targeting immigration enforcement. In 2025, a North Texas antifa terrorist cell besieged an ICE detention center, shooting law enforcement officers. This past June, a left-wing protestor attacked ICE officers and threatened to hunt down and murder their families.
The radical left are clearly embracing political violence as the solution to Americans’ rejection of their ideology. The stakes are high: if open-borders politicians assume office and seize control of the government, violent anti-ICE extremists like King will have the backing of the very institutions meant to stop them.
King’s conviction is a positive sign, but also a cautionary sign. Texans cannot let our guard down; Open Borders extremists who wish to import the entire third world and extinguish our national sovereignty operate within our state, not just Democrat strongholds. As the midterm elections approach this November, it is more important than ever to stand up for the future of our state and our nation.
