This week, Democrats gathered in Chicago for the Democratic National Convention. After over 10 million Nationwide Border Encounters in just three and a half years, they had a tall task convincing voters that their plan for the border would make them the right choice in November.

On Wednesday, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced that his office was launching an investigation into reports that NGOs may be illegally registering non-citizens to vote, presumably with the intent of influencing the general election on November 5th.

Attorney General Paxton went on to state that undercover operations had been taking place and were ongoing in the state’s urban centers.

Obviously, the prospect of non-citizens registering to vote in our elections fundamentally undermines our national sovereignty. It used to be common sense: only citizens vote. But in an era where many cities in other states are allowing non-citizens to vote in local elections, this once-universal adage is under threat.

We will continue to report on this story as it develops.
