We all know the Biden administration completely opened the border. Now, thanks to the Center for Immigration Studies, we have discovered just how extensive, secretive, and underhanded the Biden administration’s protection of illegal aliens was.
The center identified how Biden effectively gave amnesty to around one million illegals through the policy of administrative closure. Administrative closure exists because the nation’s immigration courts have been flooded with cases due to the massive migrant caravans that came pouring into the US in the past.
The backlog of pending immigration cases now is at 3.8 million- a staggering number. To deal with this backlog, immigration judges and the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) can use administrative closure to shelve cases they do not want to deal with.
This means in practice that an illegal alien can avoid being deported after they have already been arrested by ICE or Border Patrol simply by failing to appear in court, and they won’t be held accountable. By overwhelming the immigration system and using administrative closure to ensure the illegals get let off the hook, Biden crippled American border security.
Now that the Trump administration has closed the borders, they need to undo the silent amnesty Biden instituted. Illegal aliens and their Open Borders supporters have been exploiting the legal system’s weakness for too long. Americans deserve justice by deporting the millions of illegal aliens Biden brought here.
