Strong Borders Newsletter 8/30/24

Yesterday, we got word that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Legislative Affairs had informed Congress of its intent to resume flights of inadmissible aliens into the United State via the CHNV mass parole scheme. Jason Hopkins of The Daily Caller confirmed these reports in an article released yesterday afternoon.

The CHNV program has allowed hundreds of thousands of Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans to apply for asylum in their home countries and fly into the United States despite being otherwise inadmissible for entry. The program was halted earlier this month due to concerns about widespread fraud and a lack of adequate vetting, with several high-profile crimes committed by parolees.

Now, it appears CHNV is coming back, and it will help the Biden-Harris administration mask border numbers heading into November elections.

One of the biggest national border news stories this week is the apparent takeover of an Aurora, CO by the Tren de Aragua Venezuelan street gang.

Last month, it was revealed that DHS was aware of at least 1,000 known members of the gang operating in the United States and a memorandum from the head of the gang to members telling them that police officers were legitimate targets of gang violence.

As many have predicted, a border invasion of this scale has now resulted in no-go zones in America’s homeland. Expect more of this as millions of new illegal aliens continue to flow into the interior of our nation.
