Amnesty Supporter Willie Ng Wants to Bring America Last Ideas to Legislature

Conservatives in Texas House District 122 should take a close look at the record of Willie Vazquez Ng. His political history tells a familiar story—one aligned not with Texas First priorities, but with organizations that have repeatedly supported policies undermining border security, weakening interior enforcement, and incentivizing illegal immigration.

One of the most concerning aspects of Ng’s background is his association with the Texas Association of Business (TAB), a powerful corporate lobbying organization that has long promoted so-called “comprehensive immigration reform” aka amnesty.

While Ng was serving in the organization’s leadership, TAB publicly supported congressional immigration “reform” efforts that included Barack Obama’s DACA protections. Texans have seen how this script plays out every single time:

  • “Fix the system.”
  • “Legalize them first.”
  • “Just this once.”
  • “We need the workers.”

The result is always the same: illegal immigration is rewarded, enforcement is postponed, and Texans are told to accept the consequences.

This legislative session, TAB went even further, sending a letter to lawmakers opposing the repeal of in-state tuition for illegal aliens, claiming it would harm the Texas workforce.

Last time we checked, hiring illegal aliens is a federal crime. Subsidizing their education with taxpayer dollars only deepens the incentives that fuel illegal immigration in the first place.

Ng also served on the board of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, another organization that testified against repealing in-state tuition for illegal aliens this session.

We’re not aware of Ng opposing or distancing himself from these policies. His association with these organizations reflects a worldview that prioritizes illegal labor pipelines and corporate convenience over American workers and the rule of law.

Ng’s pro-amnesty history and ties to TAB and chamber groups should raise serious alarm bells. As should his decision to run against incumbent State Rep. Mark Dorazio, who earned a 100 on Texans for Strong Borders legislative rankings for his stalwart defense of border security, national sovereignty, and American workers.

Texas doesn’t need another politician who will serve special interests. It needs representatives willing to fight for the citizens who live here, work here, raise families here, and bear the consequences of failed immigration policy every day.
