Border States Have a Duty to Overrule Biden

“In the last year, more than 2 million people were arrested while trying to enter the U.S. illegally. And only 10 American cities have a population that large.”1

Border states have a duty to their citizens to override the Biden Administration and secure their own borders. The federal government will never secure our border. The border states can draw upon the U.S. Constitution and their state’s Constitution for the authority to secure their borders.

“From day one, the president’s disastrous open border and amnesty policies have made this crisis worse. We need to finish the border wall, now.”2

These open border policies have proven disastrous for our nation! With illegal alien crime and drug overdose on the rise in our country, it is no wonder Democrats ignore the crisis or pass blame onto others. “Annual drug poisoning deaths rose above 100,000 in 2021 for the first time in American history. Of those tragic deaths, 71,000 came from fentanyl.”3

The Biden Administration has chosen to turn a blind eye to the egregious border crisis half the time and then openly lie about the situation the other half of the time while mainstream media outlets carry water for them. Fortunately, the American people see the horrors on a daily basis for this “strategy” to have any effect: “Texas Rancher Invites Biden to Visit Besieged Border and See It for Yourself.”4

Recently, Vice President Kamala Harris went on the “Late Show” with host Seth Myers and embarrassed herself, as usual, “When we first came in office, the first bill that we proposed was for a pathway for citizenship — was to fix a broken immigration system, which was broken under the previous administration.”5

The responsibility to secure our border falls squarely on the states, especially the border states. At this point we know for a fact that the federal government will not secure our border. We are almost two years into the Biden Presidency and we simply cannot wait another two years for a solution. “America is in the midst of the greatest mass migration crisis in its history, all of it traceable to White House policies implemented on Inauguration Day 2021.”6 If New York can declare an emergency, so can we!7

States across this great nation must, officially declare an invasion, send national guard troops to the southern border, help fund the border wall, and deport all of their illegal aliens back to their country of origin, not bus them to neighboring states. Using Article I, Section 10, Clause 3 of the U.S. Constitution and Article 4, Section 7 of the Texas Constitution, Texas has the authority to take action!
