Left-wing politicians have been doing more than running their mouths against ICE and US immigration laws. They have been diligently scheming to undermine America’s border security and have introduced many pieces of legislation that would demolish our sovereignty and give total power to the illegals.
The most obvious and egregious one is Rep. Shri Thanedar’s (D-MI) House bill that would abolish ICE completely. If this bill becomes law, President Trump’s efforts to deport the illegals will be halted, and millions more will undoubtedly come into the US in the future. With only CBP, an agency still reeling from the Biden administration’s purges, left to secure the border, America’s ability to enforce immigration law in the interior would be reduced to almost nothing.
While this bill is rather outlandish and probably has a low chance of success, the open-borders leftists are not just advancing on the federal level. They are far more aggressive on the state level.
In New Jersey, the legislature has passed three bills that would ban local police from assisting ICE, ban ICE from stopping someone based on their suspected immigration status (which means people there could only get deported if they commit another crime and then are discovered by ICE), and ban government and healthcare entities from sharing data with ICE.
Virginia democrats have also introduced legislation to target ICE specifically, banning them from wearing face coverings and opening them up to civil lawsuits. These measures attack ICE directly by weaponizing the state government against them, and indirectly by dismantling the laws that would keep ICE officers safe from violent rioters and antifa doxxing campaigns.
And to make the threat even more potent, the Democrats are not just introducing their own legislation to turn the country upside down- they are also sneaking in provisions that would give them advantages. They added provisions in an appropriations bill that would fund investigations into border patrol and ICE detention facilities and guarantee the right of liberal congressmen to ambush the facilities with publicity stunts.
The left is in all-out attack mode against America’s border security. States they control will soon become lawless zones of chaos. We cannot ever let these anti-American, open borders extremists seize control of our great state of Texas!
