SAVE Act Clears Major Hurdle

Another important milestone in securing our nation’s sovereignty is the passage of the SAVE Act. The SAVE Act, if it becomes law, will require nationwide voter ID. The bill successfully passed in the House of Representatives on February 11 and is now waiting for a vote in the Senate.

If it passes in the Senate, the act will then be sent to President Trump to be signed into law. Voter ID is the most obvious and reasonable requirement for securing our elections. Almost every other country in the world requires voter ID. It’s not “racism” or “voter suppression”. It’s the baseline for having honest elections.

Illegal aliens have no right to reside in the United States. Allowing them to not only live here, harm our citizens, and steal our wealth, but also to vote is the worst possible offense against American sovereignty and the concept of citizenship itself.

Opponents of the measure continue to sidestep the fundamental issue, bringing up debunked complaints about divorced women whose names differ from their IDs being stripped of voting rights. But these complaints are purely rhetorical. The reality is that Open Borders politicians and NGOs reject the idea that only citizens should be allowed to vote. Many of them have passed or attempted to pass measures to allow non-citizens to vote in local elections.

Texans for Strong Borders stands for American sovereignty, and only American citizens have the right to vote in American elections. The SAVE Act is a prerequisite for securing our elections, and must be passed if America is to remain a free country.
