Texas Republicans Lead Charge to Defund DHS

U.S. Reps. Chip Roy, Lance Gooden, and Michael Cloud are advocating to defund the Department of Homeland Security until specific changes are implemented. Roy asserts that the Biden administration’s lack of commitment to border security raises questions about funding an institution responsible for this constitutional duty. Funding should be contingent on a clear plan for border security, emphasizing the need to avoid a “blank check” approach. Until DHS contains effective operational control of the border, withholding funding is more than justified.

Illegal Alien Crime: It Never Ends

The invasion at the Texas Border is seemingly an unending ordeal and so are the effects that come with it, specifically the crime. Over the weekend, a human smuggler was caught at the Texas border with child pornography. An illegal alien, via Venezuela, in upstate New York is facing charges of rape involving a child. Another illegal alien, who was arrested in Missouri was found to be in the possession of lethal fentanyl pills and linked to murder charges in Portland. Additionally, Alvaro Gomez-Lopez, a 34-year-old illegal alien from Guatemala, has been charged with felony child abuse and sexual assault against his daughter in Nebraska. Keep in mind this has all taken place within the last five days.

Trump Makes Historical Echo

President Donald Trump’s declaration at a campaign rally in Windham, New Hampshire yesterday is one every candidate for president should make. Vowing to execute the largest domestic deportation operation in U.S. history, Trump draws inspiration from President Eisenhower’s successful strategy. Trump’s call serves as a challenge to fellow presidential candidates, urging them to join his effort in confronting the implications of unchecked immigration.
